PV America is produced by SEIA and SEPA. Unlike other solar conferences, all proceeds from PV America support the expansion of the U.S. PV solar energy market through both associations’ year-round research and education activities, and through SEIA’s advocacy, research and communications efforts.

PV America West

In response to the evolving solar marketplace and key stakeholder feedback—including exhibitors and sponsors—Solar Power International and PV America East will be the two featured trade events for SEIA and SEPA in 2013 and 2014. PV America West will not be held in those years.

With an industry in transition, especially on the supplier side, this decision allows for more streamlined and concentrated buying and selling opportunities—as well as access to top-notch training and education. SEIA and SEPA will focus on growing and enhancing these two stellar solar events—PV America East, designed specifically to serve, educate and promote the PV industry, and Solar Power International, the largest most comprehensive solar energy conference and trade event in North America.

This decision is designed to benefit the PVA and SPI event community and the industry overall. PV America and Solar Power International are unique in that, unlike other solar conferences, all proceeds support the expansion of the U.S. solar energy market through SEIA’s and SEPA’s year-round research and education activities, and through SEIA’s advocacy, research and communications efforts.

Solar Power International 2013 will be held October 21-24 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.
